In the 60 minute Run Strategy Session we will cover the following;
- Race Schedule and an Annual Race Plan including advice on race selection as needed
- Safe progressions to achieve your personal goals as a runner be that P.B’s. stepping up your distance (e.g. 5k to Half Mara, Half to Full Mara, Mara to 50k or 50k to 100k and beyond) or something else entirely
- Identify your strengths as a runner
- Identify your key target areas as a runner and how to address and improve these
- Develop your understanding around intensity zones and why these are essential
- Guidance on recovering from and preventing running injuries along with referral to appropriate health care professionals as needed
- Strategies on how to mitigate injury risk
- Guidance on weekly planning
